See our Farm at this weeks Adelaide Hills Farmers Market
We have loved meeting market shoppers at the Adelaide Hills Farmers Market over the past month. Our farm Peppermint Ridge Farm Co, have been in the Farmer to Fridge tent.
We have been hearing from Market Shoppers about
what you are looking for in meats to feed your family,
why you choose grass fed beef and,
why you choose to buy direct from your local farmer.
We have had our beef cuts on show on our farm stall. Our Tomahawk has definitely been the star of the show.

Meatball Tastings
Last week we offered meatball tastings. Market Shoppers joined OUR FLOCK and we shared the recipe via email. So you can enjoy cooking these delicious baked meatballs at home.
Stall holders from two other market stalls had heard how delicious our meatballs were and themselves came over for a tasting.
I had a bit of glitch with heating the meatballs. I didn’t have meatballs ready until mid morning. So I am going to offer our Meatball Tasting Samples, again this Saturday the 1st of June, from 9am. Meatballs 2.0!
Almost meatballs for Missy!
Here is James, the Founder of Farmer to Fridge. He popped into our Adelaide Hills Farmers Market Stand. James was just quick enough to get the meatballs in time before Missy!
Farmer to Fridge sponsors the Adelaide Hills Farmers Market. All new Market Members receive a bag with Farmer to Fridge printed on it. So if you want some more Farmer to Fridge merch, join the market!

At the first market I attended, I spoke with a market shopper who comes up the hill from Adelaide, to the Adelaide Hills Farmers Market as he “loves the vibe” here. It is a beautiful spot with all the tables and chairs under the beautiful trees on the lawns.
Last week I met two market shoppers who had travelled up from Port Adelaide on their day off, to come along to the Adelaide Hills Farmers Market. As they had never been here before. And I met their two sweet dogs, one of whom has their own Instagram page!

It has been a lot of fun taking our farm, Peppermint Ridge Farm Co, to the Adelaide Hills Farmers Market.
Wonderful to chat with market shoppers. As well as to meet and be inspired by other local farmers and local stall holders. And so great to see some familiar faces of friends from the hills.
We are excited for what lies ahead for our farm at the Adelaide Hills Farmers Market.
The rain has been very welcome and I believe more is to come.
However for Saturday, it looks like a fine winter morning is on it’s way. It has been great to see families popping into the market around sports, after a trip to the gym and other weekend commitments.
Rug up, get some fresh hills air, stock your fridge for the week and relax with a warming drink from the market.
We hope to see you at the Adelaide Hills Farmers Market on Saturday Morning soon.
Love to you all, Misses Farmer X
